What a joke, D4 was nothing close to D2. You had a million options other than shaco, to get the most desirable shaco stats. And your build wasn't unusable without those rare items.

Well, I will tell you this, I am a D2 fan, never played Diablo 3, the seasonal stuff is super annoying, I just wish things were adden in eternal and those who wanted to make a new character would, and the ones who just wanted to rock with their already made character could. instead we have a graveyard called eternal realm, where there is never anything to do, and for season 4 those characters who had all their ubers or most of them at least, now had legacy items, which sucked ass, their builds now suck, cus they are always destroying previous season builds for some reason, and it sucks. However, if there was no season, I could wait years for an uber like in D2, but seeying how eternal realm sucks, how every 2 or 3 months we have to grind all over again, then of fing course I want my ubers now.

games trash feels like a job without getting paid! at this point the only thing that they could fix this boring mess is completely making new world diablo 5 removing seasons and adding real money auction house so we dont waste our times!

Diablo 4 - Does it feel like D2 slow leveling progression - check. Does it feel like D3 item progression - check. Does it feel like an mmo sandbox - check. Ok diversity is a check - do not add social features or grouping functionality and let's release this forced online sales platform.

This new class confirms my theory since beta; each class has its own specific region origin- not just druid western scoslen.

I don't know.. I would love d2 drops.. if the game didn't feel how it did. It doesn't feel good grinding that much in d4 for some reason. It just works in d2. I will say coming back for the first time since before s1 started... there's too many uniques and drops. Not really rewarding. I can def tell how casual they made diablo and i'm not for it. I'll play it and enjoy it but it feels like everything else now. Easy, quick, finish, quit.

Wings are fine. If you don’t like them…don’t use them. I am up for choosing who is in your instance of world boss and helltides. I don’t see issues with PVE coop being solo’d. I would like to see parties of 5-6 instead of 4. I am still waiting for the Cow level to be honest lol. Keep of the great content!

V Rising is 9/10, and the 10/10 is hard to nail down. Something to real get the late late game going. That said, it is easily worth money, I grabbing some of the DLCs as well as I want to support the dev. Nails so many things and a lot of content whether solo or group.

I wish they would add capes as back attachments. So many armor sets I see that would look so much better with a cape behind it.

The combat is braindead and not worth the tedium of the survival mechanics. You can tightly circle each boss and they basically cant hit you unless they perform their aoe attack where they're standing.

Second expansion will be Vessel of Destruction and will bring back Baal. Then it will be Vessel of Terror and bring back Diablo. My bet is with the Diablo expansion is when they will bring back the Paladin/Crusader class.

Spiritborn sounds kinda like the Guild Wars Nightfall Dervish, that will "embody" the forest I guess.

I *love* it. Been playing since early access in 2022. I played this instead of D4 S4. Using Wolf form and or a mount makes day travel much easier. Drink those sunlight resistance potions. Gear gets progressively more in-depth as you make your way through the acts. Like adding jewels to augment skills, even jewels come in 3 levels. You can move your Castle including servants. Oh, *don’t ignore servants* .They will defend your castle in PvP (+ golems) and can be used to send out to get those needed materials.

The only thing missing in V Rising is the ability to take your servants out as followers/fighters.

I'm kinda hoping the new class is sort of like the powers Vixen has in the Justice League TV show.

The update to let it work on the PS5 also let it work on the steamdeck, and it's pretty damn good. excellent game, on PC (keyboard/mouse) or Steamdeck/PS5 (controller).

Definitely being stoic in regards to the Dragon Age trailers, the DA:O trailer was set to heavy metal music and had almost no tonal similarity to the game itself, after all - I think the marketing strat was that genre buffs were going to buy the game anyway (or find out about it), the formal marketing was targetted at getting players outside their natural target market

I am getting black panther vibes from the Jaguar Warrior class. I think the emphasis is on the Jaguar. We have a new pet, which is either a leopard, tiger or canine, we have a new mount, which is also a cat, so I am thinking that the class is a hybrid of a Monk and a Witch Doctor, with stealthy cat like abilities. Everything is pointing out feline, and cats have claws, and stealth-like abilities, when they hunt. I expect their weapons will be staff, and claws, maybe some sort of throw weapon will be introduced, something similar to a boomerang, but with blades. Its possible that they can use something like poison darts as well. Add to that spiritual feline powers and lore, and welcome to the jungle. As for updating social's in D4, this is very much needed. Not only just to find a group, but maybe we should do something about guilds, like give them a guild/clan hall, a group storage, and a reason, and a place to plan raids, or groups or just to help each other, and maybe get to know someone in the game. At this point, from my experience of being in a clan and after I chose to leave, there was no benefit, nobody reached out to each other, it was totally useless to me, when it should have, and could have been a way to connect with other players and maybe have a social reason to play the game. This was a problem in D3, but at least you could click when you log in, to be placed into a random group to play with others....this game is very lacking in this. You can't just put in things to do, that require a group, and not have a way to find a group, in the game itself. So we need clans that bring a benefit, to playing with others, and even getting to know them and their benefit to a guild, or a group. Right now, most guilds are just a tag over your head.

if I need to group up to complete content like raids, then there better be a matchmaking system in place. Otherwise, fuck that shit.

I have this on PC, but want this on the PS5 too. Probably a waste of money, but seems like the perfect couch game.

Blizzard had said that there weren’t going to be wings in D4, having said that I like wings and was sorry to see them go.

Summing up the entirety of D2 gameplay as 'Windforce was very rare' is... not very clever and encouraging. But also, yeah, that whole concept of extreme rarity runs absolutely counter to the idea of highly entertaining, repeatable seasonal content. Which they always knew they were going to have. Possibly they should also have a PTR for their public comments, just run some of this stuff past an actual gamer before saying it out loud to the world, like 'does this make it sound like I've never actually played a game before?' ARPGs that require forced group content are awkward. That's either a super-niche group of ARPG players, or a crappy MMO, or both. And in a game this abjectly balance-averse as Diablo IV, group content is just not going to work anyway (people get kicked in MMOs for having builds that deal 25-50% less damage than other builds, how is this going to function in a game where the 'seasonal outliers' can be several times the output of the lowest tier builds?) I didn't want mercenaries and I have no opinion about wings (although anything other than regular old wings tends to look pretty terrible. Fragile bone wings or goopy blood wings especially.) The main chokepoint at the moment (for me) is the nightmare dungeons being anti-fun (especially the weirder affixes). The D4 team might claim to be moving away from D2, but they sure as heck aren't closing in on D3's level of moment-to-moment playability either. Every mechanic is there to be as harsh as possible, like that somehow makes their game *better* or *cooler* than actual ARPGs which were designed to be entertaining yet challenging products. So they can talk about being less all-in on ultimate grindiness, but spinning this particular dial does not seem to have drastically increased my interest. Honestly not trying to be too much of a hater here, but for whatever reason I'm just not engaged with D4 like say, Grimdawn (or even Titan Quest). No disagreement about the Microsoft showcase. They crushed it. A less zany Doom would be pretty welcome, although I'm not sure how the 'medieval' vibe is gonna play. =/

30+ here, have played and finished all Dragon Age games. The trailer for Veilguard got me hyped.

Just bought this game. Killed a bear 10 levels higher. Excited to see how much complexity this game has
